I started my brokerage career in Waterloo, Iowa--my hometown--in 1984 with Shearson American Express. In 1987, I received an opportunity to move into Shearson's Management Training program and train new brokers in their Chicago Training facility. In 1990, I became Branch Manager of Dain Bosworth, Inc. in Waterloo, Iowa. I worked with my own clientelle and managed the office for 10 years before starting McLaughlin Investment Services in May of 2000.

In an effort to offer my clients full,comprehensive wealth management, I hold my Series 7, Series 8, Series 24 and Series 63 registrations with LPL Financial. I am also licensed in Life Insurance, Variable Life Insurance and Fixed or Variable Annuities. I am a Registered Securities Principal, as well, as an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial. 

I am actively involved in a variety of organizations throughout the Cedar Valley. The Greater Cedar Valley Alliance & Chamber, St. Edward's church, Columbus High School, Hawkeye Community College, Boy Scouts of America and Waterloo Jaycees are but a few groups I support.
